The parts
A protocol, its firmware, an app, a motion planner, a PCB and accessory firmware.
Each one is its own repo: six of ours and a fork. The system diagram shows how they connect.
Repositories
Valence
The protocol. The machine describes itself and enforces its own limits; apps build their controls from the description.
spec v1.0-draftNucleus
Firmware for the OSSM Flagship PCB. Runs the Valence hub, the planner and the quadrature output on an ESP32-P4. The same hub code runs inside Phosphor as Neutrino.
works on the benchPhosphor
The app. A UI builder with plugins, a funscript player and Neutrino, a built-in emulated machine.
pre-release builds
Kinetic
The motion planner. Turns timed knots into jerk-limited motion with bit-identical results on every target. Runs in Nucleus and in your browser.
in useHardware
The OSSM Flagship PCB, in KiCad.
in design
Isotope
Firmware for small accessories that join the machine over ESP-NOW.
WIP, design onlyButtplugIO
A fork of buttplugio/buttplug carrying the Valence hardware manager, on branch
forkvalence.
